Exploring the dynamic of bacterial communities in Manila clam (Ruditapes philippinarum) during refrigerating storage

In this study, the V3-V4 regions of bacterial 16S rRNA on retailed Manila clam were sequenced to monitor the dynamic change of microorganism composition during the refrigerated storage. The bacterial abundance at different taxonomy annotation level was investigated, and the change of bacterial diversity was identified. The result in this study could provide a hint on risk assessment for clams during process and storage.
