资源简介:
Multimodal funtional MRI (fMRI) may require the implantation and fixation of e.g. optical fibers into the skull and brain of rodents. Adhesives were found to induce magnetic susceptibilities, causing image artifacts for MRI at high field strengths (>7 T). Samples consisted of a tube filled with 1% agarose, with 1-3 patches of adhesive fixed to the top of the tube. The labels of the adhesives signify their chemical class (silicone-based, cement-based, nail acrylics, unfilled dental resins, filled dental resins, household acrylics, glass ionomer, dental plaster). Trade names of the adhesives can be retreived from the linked publication.
This dataset contains:
1 MRI data: All images are single-shot, multislice 2D gradient echo EPI, acquired on preclinical MRi systems and supplied in DICOM format.
1.1 Adhesives applied in constrianed geometry (identical shape and volume)
1.1.1 samples scanned at 9.4 T
1.1.2 samples scanned at 7.0 T
1.2 Adhesives applied in unconstrained geometry with three different volumes per adhesive (scanned at 9.4 T)
1.3 Adhesives applied with constant weight (0.05 g) but either as flat or spherical patch
1.4 In vivo MRI of mice with implanted optical fiber, fixed with adhesive unre.1
2 The results of pull-out force tests to determine the adhesive force of adhesives on an ex vivo mouse skull.
