Annotated SdiA protein structure - ribbon diagram

Attached is the ribbon diagram of the sdiA protein annotated. The Swiss model was used to predict protein structure https://swissmodel.expasy.org/. The ligands represent binding sites, which can be essential cues to inhibit quorum sensing. Although derived from E.coli, protein homology between Salmonella species and E.coli is very high as they are both from the Enterobacteriaceae family and use the sdiA gene to detect QSM produced from other organisms.
