This global standardized field survey yielded a total of 200 soil samples from all continents. We designed this comprehensive field survey to cover diverse locations worldwide, spanning a wide range of climates (cold, temperate, tropical, polar, and arid) and vegetation types (grasslands, shrublands, and forests).
