We performed a comparative transcriptomics study of murine immune, fibrotic and skin gene expression profiles in subcutaneous bleomycin injection to determine whether this model mirrors human morphea (localized scleroderma). Whole transcriptome profiling was performed on mouse skin injected subcutaneously with bleomycin or PBS vehicle control for 5, 9, 12, 16, 21 and 28 days.
