Microbial diversity of mouse skin was determined by sequencing. Mice were either treated with vehicle (0.5% peptone/PBS), wild type C. acnes (KPA171202) or NGAL producing C. acnes (KPA171202 engineered to produce NGAL protein) on day 0, 1 and 2. Samples were taken with cotton swabs at day 0, 2 and 4. Day 0 represents untreated mice.
