Planning Basins

Planning Basins provide a series of geographically contiguous areas with common planning objectives to assist the Idaho Water Resource Board (IWRB) in formulating the Comprehensive State Water Plan, Part B. Planning Basin generally consist of one or more Hydrologic Units. They were developed by IDWR Planning Staff in collaboration with the IWRB. These may be modified periodically to meet the immediate planning needs of the IWRB.
