the study of flavonoids production in plant species of family Apiaceae and its relation of the phylogeny of the family.thirteen plant species were used in this study. flavonoids and other primary and secondary metabolites were determine. the gene of ribosomal rpl 16 were used to construct the phylogenetic relation ships between species, in addation to flavone and flavonol synthase genes were characterizes in some species.the result showed the agrement of phylogeny with flavonoid production in this family specially (flavone content), however the evolution of key genes with different to phylogeny
