Single-cell genomic profile of articular chondrocytes from rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis patients

The role of cartilage tissue and chondrocytes in the pathogenesis of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) has been underexplored despite extensive research on synovial tissue. This study utilized single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to compare the genomic profiles of articular chondrocytes in RA and osteoarthritis (OA) patients. Overall design: scRNA-seq was employed to profile RA chondrocytes.
