China Energy Statistics Dataset (2005) is derived from the China Energy Statistical Yearbook (2004–2008). It was manually input, organized and verified by multiple professionals, with obvious erroneous data removed during the data tabulation process. The validated data are of reliable quality and consistent with the original statistical yearbook. This annual dataset focuses on the year 2005, covering indicators including comprehensive energy statistics, energy construction, energy production, national energy balance sheet, energy consumption, regional energy balance sheet, energy volume of Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions, energy data of Taiwan Province, and energy data of relevant countries and regions. This dataset is designed for research on the energy landscape of the People's Republic of China, and caters to students and researchers engaged in environmental science and related disciplines.
