Feeding behavior of ducks in relation to food treatment and life history characteristics

These data were collected in the field. The column "duckid" is the focal sample unique identifier. "treatment" is whether food was added to the plot. "block" is a pair of plots (treatment and control). We focused on five species: MALL (mallard), WODU (wood duck), BWTE (blue-winged teal), RNDU (ring-necked duck), and SCAUP (lesser scaup). "flock.total" was the number of ducks considered to be in the same flock as the focal duck. "num.obs" was the number of observations noted during a single focal sample (max of 16). "numfeed" is the number of observations that were classified as feeding.
