USA Flood Hazard Areas
收藏资源简介:
Overview This feature service provides polygon-based flood hazard areas used in FEMA flood mapping and flood risk identification. It captures flood zone designations, special flood hazard indicators, and related flood zone attributes that support interpretation of effective Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) information. Feature Content Flood hazard zones identify mapped flood area designations used by FEMA for flood risk communication and regulation. Zone subtypes and floodway notes add detail for conditions such as reduced flood hazard areas, floodways, and other zone-specific classifications. Special flood hazard and restoration attributes support areas affected by Flood Control Restoration Zones, including reverted zone information where applicable. Elevation, depth, and velocity fields provide supporting flood characteristics for areas with base flood elevation, AO zone depth, or flood flow velocity values. Geographic Coverage The service covers flood hazard areas across the United States and is suited to national-scale flood mapping and review workflows. Use Cases Viewing FEMA flood hazard zones and special flood hazard areas in GIS applications Supporting floodplain management, community planning, and hazard awareness Interpreting FIRM-based flood zone classifications and zone-specific attributes Integrating flood hazard polygons into risk assessment and map display workflows Data Notes The layer includes source citation information and symbology attributes that support standardized FEMA/Esri flood hazard display and documentation.
