资源简介:
This dataset contains time series of groundwater level and temperature, soil properties, and decomposition rates from several estuarine wetland types (emergent marsh, forested tidal swamp, former tidal wetlands, and eelgrass beds) in Pacific Northwest estuaries. We also include elevation, groundwater salinity, and pH data from former tidal wetland sites. Sites range from Humboldt Bay in California to Padilla Bay in Washington. The data sets in this release are associated with two publications: Kauffman et al. (2020) Global Change Biology and Janousek et al. (2025) Estuaries and Coasts. Other data associated with these two publications, including additional wetland surface elevation, pore water salinity, and pH in tidal sites, are in a Figshare data release (Kauffman et al. 2020, https://doi.org/10.25573/serc.12640172.v2). We thank other team members from the Pacific Northwest Blue Carbon Working Group for their contributions to these studies.
