The goals of this project were to quantify the genomic and transcriptomic diversity of Penicillium species isolated from cheese rinds. Data are from two Penicillium isolates (strain 162_3FA and strain 12) that were isolated from a cheese cave in Vermont, USA. Some data are from genomic resequencing of isolates from an experimental evolution project. Other data are from transcriptomic sequencing of wild-type and evolved mutants.
