资源简介:
Abstract—Advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) are increasingly influencing job dynamics, both through automation and shifts in workforce roles. This study aims to analyze the impact of AI on job changes (Changes of Work/CW) by considering the role of social media dependency (Social Media Dependency/SMD) as a supporting factor. The findings indicate that AI threats (Perceived AI Threat/PAT) can directly or indirectly lead to job changes through loss of control (Loss of Controllability/LOC) and loss of skills (Loss of Skills/LOS). Additionally, social media dependency can either amplify or mitigate AI's impact by providing information that helps workers adapt or, conversely, increases their anxiety. The type of content consumed on social media can shape perceptions of AI, influencing how individuals react to workplace transformations. Another influential factor is the perception of AI fairness (Perceived AI Fairness/PAF), which determines how workers respond to AI-driven changes. A fair perception of AI implementation can reduce resistance, whereas skepticism may fuel uncertainty and fear. This study offers insights into how workers can better prepare for AI-induced transformations and the role of social media in shaping their perceptions of workforce changes. Future research should explore strategies for organizations to leverage social media positively in AI adaptation efforts.
