Strategic BIM Adoption in Kuwait: A Policy-Led Roadmap for Digital Transformation in the AEC Industry

Summary DescriptionThis dataset contains the primary qualitative data and secondary literature data used to investigate the strategic drivers and barriers to Building Information Modeling (BIM) adoption in Kuwait. The data supports a sequential mixed-methods investigation consisting of a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and semi-structured expert interviews.

2. Methods of Collection

SLR Data: Collected through a systematic search of WoS, Scopus, IEEE Xplore, and ScienceDirect (2015–2025). The final dataset comprises 35 peer-reviewed records selected via the PRISMA framework.

Qualitative Data: Collected via semi-structured interviews with 10 high-level BIM specialists in Kuwait, representing government agencies, consultancy firms, and contracting organizations. Data was processed using Taguette software for thematic analysis.
