This dataset contains processed RNA-sequencing results generated for the study titled “Eosinophil-derived interleukin-24 compromises epithelial integrity and aggravates airway remodeling in mouse models of allergic asthma.” In this study, mouse tracheal epithelial cells were treated with interleukin-24 (IL-24) to investigate its role in airway remodeling in eosinophilic asthma. Total RNA was extracted and sequenced by Biotools Microbiome Research Center (Taipei, Taiwan). Library preparation and sequencing were performed on an Illumina NovaSeq 6000 platform. Paired-end reads were aligned to the mouse reference genome (GRCm38) using HISAT2, and gene-level quantification was performed with FeatureCounts. Differential expression analysis was conducted with DESeq2. Functional enrichment analyses, including Gene Ontology (GO), KEGG pathways, and Disease Ontology (DO), were performed using clusterProfiler and DOSE. The uploaded files include quality control metrics, alignment summaries, normalized expression matrices (TPM), differentially expressed gene (DEG) tables, GO/KEGG/DO enrichment results, GSEA, PPI network data, and visualization files such as PCA and volcano plots. A comprehensive README file describing the folder structure and analysis pipeline is also included. These data support the findings of the associated manuscript and are made available for reuse, validation, or meta-analytical purposes. Raw sequencing files are not included here due to repository constraints but may be available upon request. Please cite this dataset using the DOI provided if reused in future research.
