EMG Signals Dataset for Wrestling Athletes Movement Classification

This dataset contains electromyography (EMG) signals collected from athletes practicing wrestling. The data were recorded from 8 different muscles of each participant during the execution of various movements. The protocol was designed to ensure stable and repeatable signal acquisition while allowing sufficient muscle relaxation between consecutive movements. This approach improves the quality and reliability of the recorded biosignals. The dataset can be used for tasks such as movement classification, pattern recognition, and analysis of muscle activity in sports science and biomedical engineering applications. Each recording includes labeled movement data, enabling supervised learning approaches for classification of athletes’ movements.
