Supplementary Files for "Notulae Clavariacearum IV. Western North American Species of Clavaria that Produce Ornamented Spores"

Four species of Clavaria from Western North America that produce ornamented spores are documented and discussed. The fuscous black to gray species Clavaria greletii is reported from North America for the first time and some notes on a macromorphologically similar species, Clavaria neonigrita, are given. Two pale species that can produce ornamented spores are discussed: Clavaria californica and the Clavaria falcata complex. Most of these species only rarely produce ornamented spores. Large infraspecific variation in the ITS barcode region (>5% pairwise dissimilarity) for some species is discussed.
