The SAA Research Agenda seeks to provide the Society of American Archivists and its membership with a focused agenda to guide research on the archival profession's most pressing issues over the next five years (2026-2031). Funded by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the SAA Research Agenda is the result of a collaborative project that brought together over 30 archival experts, practitioners, educators, community leaders, and grantmakers to create a concrete research agenda for the field. This dataset contains over 70 documents that capture the work conducted during the two-year project and the processes that informed the grant's final products.
