This study shows the effects of doxorubicin (DOx) on DMPC monolayers formed at the air–water interface and bilayers formed at the gold-solution interface. Monolayer studies were performed usin Langmuir technique supplemented with polarization modulation infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy (PM-IRRAS) at the air-water interface. Supported bilayers were visualized by atomic force microscopy (AFM) and characgterized by electrochemical measurements and PM-IRRAS studies of supported bilayers.The dataset contains files (text and tiff files) showing the experimental results included in the publication.
