Iron on the Oregon Margin from the FeTSh (Iron Transport Shuttle)

Dissolved and Particulate iron collected from two cruises to the Oregon margin in 2021 on the RV Oceanus. Samples were collected using a trace metal clean rosette and filtered using 0.2 uM Supor Filters. Filters were digested using 50% nitric acid and analyzed by ICPMS. Dissolved samples were acidified and processes using a SeaFast automated extraction system based on Nobias chelating resin. Replicates for some offshore samples were processed using the brucite co-precipitation method in cases where iron blanks with the SeafaFast were too high. Dissolved and particulate eluates were analyzed on the Element 2 ICPMS in Moffett's lab at the University of Southern California.
