Treating wild-type S. pombe cells and ∆wee1 mutant with 20mM H2O2, we observed that aberrant Cdc2 activity, as in case of ∆wee1 cells can lead to major changes in the Spc1 dependent global transcriptional response to oxidative stress. Overall design: Differential gene expression studies were carried out using Next Generation Sequencing , following 20mM H2O2 treatment in a Wee1 ldeletion mutant w.r.t untreated cells. Two biological replciates per condition and genotype.
