BRINE (Bellingshausen Region Ice-melt and Nutrient Exchanges) dataset
收藏资源简介:
The BRINE (Bellingshausen Region Ice-melt and Nutrient Exchanges) project aims to observe, quantify and better understand the shelf-ocean exchange of freshwater along the West Antarctic Peninsula (WAP) and Bellingshausen Sea (BS). It is funded by the Advanced Research and Invention Agency (ARIA) and Schmidt Ocean Institute. To learn more about BRINE, see HERE. PI: Dr Laura Cimoli (University of Cambridge)Co-Is: Prof Karen Heywood (University of East Anglia), Dr Alex Brearley (British Antarctic Survey), Prof Kate Hendry (British Antarctic Survey).PDRAs: Dr Joshua Lanham (University of Cambridge), Dr Meredith Meyer (University of East Anglia). This repository contains the data collected during the BRINE missions in the Bellingshausen Sea, Antarctica. This repository is will be updated as data will become available/quality controlled. The dataset includes: ADCP data: the ship-mounted ADCP data (38 kHz and 300 kHz) is available from UHDAS-SOEST, see here. It is reported here as well for convenience. Data collected during the Schmidt Ocean Institute cruise are recognizable by the cruise code "FKt250110". Seawater analyses: FKt250110_seawater_master_file.csv [preliminary] Seaglider (Bella) deployment Jan 2025: glider_deployment_seaglider.zip Slocum deployments: glider_deployment_slocum_01.zip
