YouTube Comments Dataset on the Iran–Israel Conflict (2025)

This dataset contains 120,000 YouTube comments related to the Iran–Israel conflict (May 30 – July 8, 2025). The data include comment text, metadata (video ID, likes, date), and discursive categories derived from manual annotation and supervised multilingual training with XLM-RoBERTa. Ten categories are provided (e.g., Pro-Palestine, Pro-Israel, Pro-Iran, Anti-US, Neutral, etc.), along with some entries labeled as “error” when classification was ambiguous or technically inconsistent. The dataset offers a resource for studying digital discourse, polarization, and algorithmic bias in geopolitical conflicts.
