Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells stably expressing the Ghana virus receptor Ephrin B2 (EFNB2) were infected with recombinant Ghana virus (rGhV). Total RNA was harvested at 72 hours post-infection and subjected to direct RNA sequencing using the Oxford Nanopore MinION platform. The goal of this dataset is to characterize the transcriptional gradient of rGhV and to quantify RNA editing within the P gene.
