This series is a collection of various records, all of which contain historical information on the establishment and operation of the Melbourne Branch of the Royal Mint.As there was no documentation accompanying this series upon transfer to PROV, the creator of this series, and the series date range (ie the beginning and end of the recordkeeping process) are unknown. However, it would appear that the records in this series may have been collected and arranged together by an employee of the Melbourne Branch.
