Data Set history: This data set is version V1.1. The changes from the V1.0 are listed below: Full size BROWSE images FITS versions added in EXTRAS directory label content consistent with comet phase datasets target names and types revised, mainly for CALIBRATION of V1.0 ERRATA of V1.0 addressed and removed (image orientation and geometry keywords). updated EAICD version GEO_NAVCAM*_INDEX and NAVCAM*_INDEX added into the INDEX directory. Data Set Overview: The data from the Rosetta Navigation Camera (NavCam) was extracted by Bernhard Geiger; the data set was constructed and submitted by Maud Barthelemy on behalf of the Planetary Science Archives (PSA). The data have been observed and measured from 25th Aug 2015 to 22nd Sep 2015. The frequency of the navigation slots was of one image every five hours, with interruption by manoeuvres. 130 navigation images were taken. In addition 274 context images and 3 calibration images were taken, which makes a total of 407 images. 2 navigation images were not acquired due to SSMM recovery activities. 45 context images were not acquired also because of recovery activities. There is 1 context image with lost rows. The orbiter was executing far flyby arcs at distance between 400km and 460km. The phase angle had a minimum of 70 degrees in the first part of the MTP. Then, there was a transition to the night side with phase angles up to 120 degrees and a return to terminator from the 16th sep. From 6th Sep, the distance was reduced to a range between 310km and 330km. All images in this data set are raw and uncalibrated data taken using the imaging mode. The data set contains images resolved usi truncated!, Please see actual data for full text [truncated!, Please see actual data for full text]
