Portable Optical Particle Sizer (POPS) measurements of aerosol particle number concentration and size distribution in summertime in Narsarsuaq and Narsaq, South Greenland during Greenfjord 2023

Abstract and dataset contents: This dataset contains measurements of aerosol particle number size distributions and total number concentration between 186.6 and 3366 nm (optical diameter) expressed in dN/dlogDp (cm⁻³), averaged to a 10-second time resolution (native resolution: 1 second). Data were collected using a Portable Optical Particle Spectrometer (POPS; Handix Scientific, Boulder, USA). Measurements were conducted at three difference sites, two sites near Narsarsuaq and one in Narsaq, Greenland. The co-ordinates of the Narsarsuaq col and plain sites are 61.2061254 N, 45.3118504 W, 300 m above sea level , and 61.200028 N, 45.328000 W, 25 m above sea level. The Narsaq hill site was at 60.9210617 N, 46.0274668 W, 372 m above sea level. Metadata is provided for each site in files 'Metadata_POPS_coll.docx', 'Metadata_POPS_hill.docx' and 'Metadata_POPS_plain.docx'. The bin diameters are provided in ‘POPS_bin_boundaries.csv’.
