Amphibian functional trait dataset from old-growth forests and agroforests in northeastern Madagascar

This dataset contains species-level functional trait information used to analyse amphibian functional diversity and trait–environment relationships across old-growth forests and agroforests in northeastern Madagascar. Traits include stratum use, behaviour, reproductive mode and tadpole trait. Trait assignments were based on literature, field observations, and field measurements. For poorly known taxa lacking species-specific information, some categorical traits were inferred from closely related congeners.
