Data on Potential Mosquito Breeding Containers in Bangkok (Thailand), 2023-2024
收藏资源简介:
Data on Potential Mosquito Breeding Containers in Bangkok Description of the study zones (ID) where data collection was conducted in Bangkok (Thailand), in 2023-2024. Field Survey This dataset is based on a field survey conducted in Bangkok to identify and characterize potential mosquito breeding containers in a selection of urban environments. Study Description The survey involved direct on-site inspection of public spaces and surrounding outdoor areas to document water-holding containers that may serve as breeding sites for mosquitoes (e.g., Aedes aegypti, Aedes albopictus). Data Collected Tracks.gpkg which corresponds to the survey routes. Four columns (date, site_ID, geometry in line, length); PBC_Locations.gpkg: the recorded potential breeding containers (PBCs). Three colomns (site_ID, number, geometry in point) Track_volume.csv: with the site_ID, the number of PBCs (numbers) expressed as proportions within each volumetric class (< 0.5 L; 0.5–1 L; 1–2 L; 2–5 L; > 5 L) and the total. Purpose The objective of this field survey was to: Assess the distribution and frequency of potential mosquito breeding sites Identify high-risk container types Support targeted vector control interventions
