Peru: shopping malls GLA 2019, by format

In 2019, Peru had a total of 2.6 million square meters of gross leasable are (GLA) in power centers, whereas for malls, the country had 675 thousand square meters. Power center is a shopping center with typically 250 thousand to 600 thousand square feet (23 thousand to 56 thousand square meters) of gross leasable area that usually contains three or more big box retailers and other smaller retailers. A big box store is a physically large retail establishment, usually part of a chain of stores.
