It contains 792,964 plasmid segment clusters (PSCs) derived from 1,009,571 assembled genomes of 450 pathogenic species across 110 genera. PIPdb provides comprehensive multi-dimensional metadata including collection date, geographic origin, ecosystem, host taxonomy and habitat. Moreover, it offers a wide range of functional annotations such as plasmid types, insertion sequences, integrons, oriT replication origin elements, relaxases, T4CP transmembrane transport chaperones, virulence genes, heavy metal resistance genes and antibiotic resistance genes.
