Dataset for: Catalogue of Pre-Breeding clones

Pre-breeding hybrids derived from sources of resistance to late blight from S. chiquidenum, S. cajamarcense, and S. sogarandinum. The material was generated from 4x-2x crosses using 4x breeding lines from CIP's breeding program and 2x embryo rescue hybrids obtained from crossing 2x cultivar from Phureja and Stenotomum Groups to the late blight resistance wild sources. Data comes from field trials carried out during winter in La Molina and from the highlands. The last 7 hybrids are introductions to CIP of 4x breeding lines with bacterial wilt resistance developed by INIA Uruguay's partners. These seven clones are hybrids derived from S. commersonnii and ancient CIP's breeding lines with bacterial wilt resistance. Data was provided by INIA Uruguay.
