1:1,000,000 Main Channel Migration Database of the Lower Yellow River (1996–Present)
This database provides spatial data documenting channel migrations in the Lower Yellow River since 1996. It contains datasets of ancient Yellow River channel migrations across eleven time periods, among which are vector data of Lower Yellow River channel migrations during 1964–1976 and point features of major towns and townships in the lower reaches. Additional channel migration information for the 1964–1976 period is also included in the dataset. This resource holds extremely significant academic value for research on Yellow River channel migrations, the historical development of the Yellow River, and the history of the Yellow River Basin.
