Data for: Chromosomal rDNA Distribution Patterns in Clonal Cobitis Triploid Hybrids (Teleostei, Cobitidae): Insights into Parental Genomic Contributions.

This dataset contains chromosome counting data and representative metaphase plate images of allotriploid hybrid females of the genus Cobitis (Teleostei, Cobitidae), supporting the results presented in two publications: Boroń et al. (2025, Genes) and Duda et al. (2025, International Journal of Molecular Sciences). Chromosome analyses were performed on at least 12 metaphase plates per individual using MultiScan v. 14.02 software, and the results were combined with molecular genotyping data to determine the parental subgenomes and karyotypes of triploid females. The dataset includes chromosome count tables and representative metaphase plate images from females representing different genomic compositions and karyotypes and was generated within the framework of the project funded by the National Science Centre, Poland (grant No. UMO-2021/41/B/NZ8/03231).
