Diverse antimicrobial-resistant E. coli strains to evaluate AMR genotyping algorithms. Escherichia coli

This study was designed to evaluate the impact of choice of genotyping algorithm (ABRicate, ARIBA, KmerResistance, SRST2) on genotyping of antimcirobial resistance (AMR) genes. In addition to using simulations, a large sequencing dataset of E. coli from humans and animals was brought together to reflect as many diverse AMR mechanisms as possible.
