Polymyxin resistance in carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae strains in China

This study aims to investigate the prevalence of polymyxin resistance in carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae strains in China, and study the molecular and genetic mechanism underlying the polymyxin resistance in carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae. Findings in this study provide important insights to prevent the further dissemination of polymyxin-resistant and carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae in clinical settings in China.
