Drosophila melanogaster Raw RNAseq sequence reads for achi/vis transgenic lines

Strains : Drosophila stocks #8509 (genotype: w[*]; Df(2R)pingpong, achi[pingpong]/CyO; P{w[+mW.hs]=vis}3/MKRS) and #8511(genotype: y[1] w[*]/Dp(1;Y)y[+]; Df(2R)pingpong, achi[pingpong]/CyO; P{w[+mW.hs]=achi}3) were obtained from Bloomington Drosophila Stock Center. We then generated a set of 5 genotypes carrying different copy numbers of Achi and Vis through crosses using the w1118 strain and a double balancer CyO-TM6B strain (see figure X for the crossing schemes and final genotypes). These flies were used for RNA sequencing and subsequent analysis to investigate a possible dosage effect of those transcription factors on the expression of downstream genes, including de novo genes.
