Clever-1 is a scavenger receptor expressed on a subset of immunosuppressive macrophages and monocytes. We analyzed the gene expression profiles of CD14+ monocytes isolated from cancer patients treated with a humanized anti-Clever-1 antibody (FP-1305) in a phase I/II clinical trial (MATINS; NCT03733990) to understand how anti-Clever-1 treatment changes the phenotype and activation of circulating monocytes. Overall design: Pre-dose (day 0) and post-dose (day 1 and day 7) blood samples were collected from four patients receiving anti-Clever-1 therapy. Peripheral blood CD14+ monocytes were isolated from the samples and monocyte total RNA extracted for mRNA sequencing.
