Minutes of the LIDATEC Technical Sub-Committee meeting on 18 August 2016 at WLIC in Columbus, Ohio, USA. Topics included: the approval of the recommendation that the IFLA namespaces carry the less restrictive CC-BY license, update on the status of the namespace implementation in the Open Metadata Registry and the need to upgrade it, report on a working meeting held on 12 August to review the upgrade proposal, need for an updated gap analysis to support the upgrade proposal and paper for the GB. The potential for collaboration with LIDASIG was raised.
