Record of persons appointed to various Government departments detailing name, date of appointment, position, by whom appointed, with notation as to resignation, dismissal, death etc. and successor. This volume was produced in 1829 (Watermark 1828), presumably for Governor Darling when he was investigating the organisation of the civil service. It is chiefly concerned with government officials under Darling, some of whom were, of course, appointed before his arrival.
