Poole Lake is located on the Pangman Tract (Concession 14, Lots 11-12; Concession 15, Lots 11-12 of South Frontenac Township, Frontenac County). Mean depth = 2.6 m; maximum depth = 6.5 m; surface area = 24.2 ha, shoreline = 4120.0 m. Poole Lake receives inflow from Lindsay Lake, to which it is broadly connected, and a series of ponds and wetlands to the southwest. Poole Lake drains underground into Lower Poole Pond, then above ground through Osprey Marsh, the Rock Lake/Creek system and eventually the Rideau Canal.
