资源简介:
The galaxy group Nest 200047 hosts a remarkably complex structure comprisingfour pairs of distinct radio lobes: the largest number of consecutive AGNoutbursts known to date. Its outermost radio structures extending out to over200 kpc in radius rival the largest cavities discovered in much more massiveclusters. They exhibit a striking array of filamentary radio structures likelyrepresenting the most advanced stage of bubble evolution observed so far. Theproposed 144 ks XMM-Newton observation will allow us to quantify the morphologyof the X-ray emission around these aged bubbles and perform a detailed analysisof the substructure and thermodynamical properties of this spectacular systemrevealing how old AGN lobes break up and deposit their energy into the surrounding hot medium.
