Circular cylinders with a non-negligible surface roughness are frequently found in many engineered structures. But the behaviour of air flow around them isn't well understood, especially at large velocities. This thesis analyses flow over a cylinder in isolation and varying roughness, and that over two rough cylinders in proximity to each other.
