Paper and pulp products export volume in the U.S. 2022, by type

The United States exported nearly 1.15 million metric tons of graphic papers in 2022. Meanwhile, exports of other paper and paperboard products amounted to 17.56 million metric tons that year - with case materials accounting for 5.17 million metric tons of these. The U.S. also exported 16.3 million metric tons of recovered paper. Recovered paper is used to produce new products such as containerboard and tissues.
