Fructose is widely used as a sweetener in food and beverages. Quite a few of literatures support that high-intake of fructose should increase the risk of dyslipidemia, obesity, insulin resistance, and so on. However, the impacts of high fructose intake on glycolipids metabolism has not been carefully instigated. Here, using a model of high fructose induced dyslipidemia in Sprague-Dawley rats and RNA-Seq technology, we try to illustrate the alteration of liver transcriptome and discover some new idea for dyslipidemia treatment with traditional Chinese medicine.
