资源简介:
The Japanese macaques are an endemic species of Asian Old Word monkeys, living in Japanese Island. We constructed a draft genome assembly for a Japanese macaque and investigated the genomic differences between a Japanese macaque and other closely-related species using two strategies such as a genome structural comparison and a high-quality resequencing. We prepared the high-quality genomic sequence of four Japanese macaques and three kinds of closely-related species for identifying essential traits in a genetic background of Japanese macaques and for deploying more useful genomic resources for a macaque animal model. Resource Lists: 1. High-quality low-sequencing data for seven macaques, 2. draft genome sequence of a Japanese macaque, 3. BAC and BAC-end sequences of a Japanese macaque, 4. whole-genome variants (SNVs and indels), and 5. Japanese macaque-specific genomic information.
