Raw tracking data from "Postural analysis reveals persistent vigilance in paper wasps after conspecific challenge"

We used SLEAP [27] to track seven points on wild Polistes fuscatus wasp foundresses before and after presentation with a wooden dowel or with a pinned conspecific "intruder." Labeled points were antennae tips, head, thorax-abdomen bridge (propodeum), abdomen tip, and wing tips (figure 1a). The comma separated files in this Figshare record contain the x and y coordinates for each point in a given frame of the video. Each row corresponds to a video frame. If no points were tracked in a given frame, then the row corresponding to that frame is absent. The meanings of column headers are as follows:

Columns:

"track" - one track in each video, "track_0"

"frame_idx" - numerical identifier unique to each frame

"head.x" - horizontal pixel coordinate of the head

"head.y" - vertical pixel coordinate of the head

"ta_bridge.x" - horizontal pixel coordinate of the propodeum (thorax-abdomen bridge)

"ta_bridge.y" - vertical pixel coordinate of the propodeum (thorax-abdomen bridge)

"abd_tip.x" - horizontal pixel coordinate of the abdomen tip

"abd_tip.y" - vertical pixel coordinate of the abdomen tip

"l_wing_tip.x" - horizontal pixel coordinate of the left wing tip

"l_wing_tip.y" - vertical pixel coordinate of the left wing tip

"r_wing_tip.x" - horizontal pixel coordinate of the right wing tip
