资源简介:

This data set includes subjective ratings on listening effort, speech intelligibility, free field audiometry, and real ear measurements (REM) evaluated in the follwing paper. Benefit of amplification at low input levels in normal-hearing listeners Hendrik Husstedt, Robert Wiedenbeck, Luca Wiederschein, Florian Denk Trends in Hearing, https://doi.org/10.1177/23312165261442996 The dataset includes two ZIP files, one for each experiment. Each ZIP file contains subfolders for individual participants. In the first experiment, each participant folder includes the following subfolders: “ACALES” (subjective ratings of listening effort), “Audiometry” (free field audiometry results), “OLSA” (speech intelligibility), and “REM” (real ear measurements). The folder structure of the second experiment is largely the same, but the “OLSA” subfolder for speech testing is absent, as this assessment was not conducted. ACALES: Contains one XML file with the results of listening effort ratings for each of the three conditions (open, 0 dB gain, 15 dB gain). In addition, processed versions of these data are provided as “*.mat” files. Audiometry: Contains results of free field audiometry for each of the three conditions, as well as headphone-based measurements in the open condition. The vector “vf” contains the frequencies, “vThr_HP_FF” the hearing thresholds in the free field, and “vThr_HP_L” and “vThr_HP_R” the thresholds obtained via headphones for the left and right ear, respectively. OLSA: Contains one XML file with the results of speech intelligibility testing for each of the three conditions (open, 0 dB gain, 15 dB gain). Training results are also included. In addition, processed evaluations of all data are provided as “*.mat” files. REM: Contains “*.mat” files with real ear measurements for each of the two aided conditions (0 dB gain, 15 dB gain). The vector “f” contains the frequencies; “OE_L” and “OE_R” represent the open ear responses, while “HG_L” and “HG_R” represent the aided conditions. Insertion gain is computed as “HG_L − OE_L” or “HG_R − OE_R”.
